A better game then those fucking snorefest’s Fallout and Fallout 2 was. Interplay made gold when they introduced Fallout Tactics, though. You’re just butthurt because your precious franchise has been changed. Haha, you can’t do anything about it but rage.

Maybe New Vegas will be good? I mean, yeah, the story was shit, but the new Fallout was good and it had some reminders of the old games.

i’d nuke the world to have these guys work on Fallout again.

So sad nowadays. . . . after Bethesda has given the Dumb down treatment to Fallout. . . what remains?

R. I. P. Interplay. . . I don’t know why they don’t understand the “rest” and “peace” part, but yes, you are right. They produced(!) good games. On the contrary they are nowadays making everyone feel terrible. On one hand by still claiming their rights for their nearly lost producing rights and on the other hand by trying to stand up from ashes and make something great again. I just don’t see it happening. Once the company dies, it should rest. Just my opinion. And they DID die. For nice few years.

Eh, “correct” isn’t the right word. It’s a shambling corpse that hasn’t produced anything and survived by cannibalizing its IP rights.
And now it’s working on FOOL. I’m neither convinced that it will see the light of day nor that it would be a good thing if it did.

Yeah, I have to admit that I’ll really miss some izo game series. Fallout now have a great successor, but Jagged Alliance or old Baldur’s Gate / Icewind Dale. . . they will never return (just my opinion, everything’s possible).

You have a point. I just wanted to say that during GURPS fallout and later S. P. E. C. I. A. L. Fallout development they stood on public as Interplay while Black Isle as a creators and company name showed up a bit later, by the way as makers of Fallout 2.

Just differencing those two games ;o)

Yes i do realize that they were still called Interplay at the time, but this division later adopted Black Isle as their name (although some of the key members did leave during the development of Fallout 2). This is as far as i know about it though, so i might be a bit off regarding this.

We will miss you. . . Fallout. . .

Black Isle was just a part of Interplay and it worked on Fallout 2. . . So no. . . R. I. P. Interplay is correct.
